Bought this card in August with SP2 and my 3.0 ghz w/ HT and the TV tuner carshes every 15 minutes, and wasn't able to record a single show without freezing my whole computer.
Reformatted, same thing happened with a fresh hard drive.
Contacted ATI - said its a known problem with HT chips and the only work around is to disable hyperthreading. Coincidentially its the same reason these are being so deeply discounted. And there are pages all over the net with these cards and HT chips.
Had to return it after 3 weeks of desperately trying EVERYTHING to work on a HT machine.l

before service pack 2, it was buggy as hell tho.
Try going back to version 9.06 of the ATI multimedia center.
I have an AMD 939 proc but could not get TV to work at all until I went to the older version of ATI MMC. Not sure if this will work for the HT problem, but give it a shot!

This deal is dead. I ordered it online and my order got cancelled since "the product is at end of life and can no longer be ordered from suppliers". I called up the mississauga store and was told it is sold out

Newbie
I picked up the last one at the downtown location today. I believe they may have shipped it from the Markham location as they didn't have any yesterday.
So if you really want one but don't want to drive to Markham, just call your local branch and ask if they can get it from another store.
I feel pretty ghetto for buying a 'new' video card with a proud 'KICK ASS! July 2003' rating on the front of the box.
