Looks pretty cool... not sure about the variable snooze time... I bet I would tap it a few times each morning and be an hour late for everything![]()

DEAD Sony's ICFC763 AM/FM Clock Radio with Digital Tuner
checked the forum, but i don't think it's been posted yet

it's got alot of features and bright display. only downfall is no backup power. other than that, it's a pretty decent alarm clock for the price offered.
just add to cart, and it will take 50% off the regular $99.99 automatically. at $49.99, i think it's a pretty good deal, considering all the novelties that come with it.

I've always wanted a digital radio alarm clock. But 50 is wayyyyy to expensive for a clock. Also, it's quite an ugly ball.

lol.

nice first post
nice first post, and welcome to RFD...
it does look like a nice product, however, i wish it came in another colour (all black would look sharp, especially with that blue light illuminating the top).
$50 is not cheap for your run-of-the-mill alarm clock, but then again, this appears to be more than just your run-of-the-mill alarm clock.
will consider picking one up..._______________

I think it's meant to remind you to have your hard boiled eggs for breakfast in the morning. It is the most important meal of the day after all.

Love the design, too bad I don't need an extra alarm clock.

I've a Sanyo alarm clock with digital tuner. It's a pain in the ass because it uses the indiglo type of display which is extremely bright in a dark room. I've yet to find one, at a reasonable price, which doesn't have an overly bright display.
The one thing I liked about it, which is the reason I bought it, is its alarm settings. I could set the alarm to use either the CD, tuner or otherwise WITH the wakeup volume. This way I could listen to a CD at night at a low volume without having to worry about altering my wake-up volume.
Sadly the CD player has stopped working (it's probably dirty, but I've been too lazy) and the display was a certain downside, so I've replaced it with one I had thought would do the same thing, but alas, it does not. I can only wake up to the buzzer without it being altered by my low volume the previous night, listening to CDs. (Currently Ella Fitzgerald, but that's not important
So yes, they are out there, but they are hard to find at a decent price. The Sanyo was $100._______________

My clock radio went on the fritz so I just recently bought a new one.
I bought this Sony instead (ICFC273)

I like it because it also has a digital tuner and displays two alarm times simultaneously. You can set different radio stations for each alarm. And it's about $40
The only bad thing is that the display is a backlit type that isn't as easy to read. It has a dimmer control but if I set it to low, it's too dim for the daytime.
But otherwise, I think this is a better clock radio than the above one. It certainly looks a lot better than this egg shaped one.

The nap timer feature seems pretty cool. But its still a bit too expensive for an alarm clock.

$50 is $$$$$. Especially for something that doesn't have battery back up. LOL
"power failure" is not a cool excuse for missing an exam. LOL
