About $50... still expensive!
I wonder if I can hoard this tablet and sell them on kijiji...
I don't know about hoarding because I see people on craiglist selling $250 but Costco was selling them for $250 + tax with 2 years warranty.
Might be able to for around $220.
Unless you use your BB GC and certificate from your S2/W to price match at BB.

True. But already sold my gc last week. I'll probably pass on this. Might be a decent gift tho.

The model number for mine is P3113 and don't think there's a TV out, maybe you have to buy an adapter?

I have like $300 certificate left so I'll try to get 2 and return the one I have to Costco.

I know this is like apples and oranges, but I have a 32 GB Playbook and this 7" Tab 2 and I havent touched the PB once since getting the Tab. I'm more used to the Apple IOS so it took me a bit to get a feel for Android, but now I really like it. Plays video well, I got $28 32gb microsd from Costco, works great. Doesn't feel slow like someone mentioned above. especially when you flash it CyanogenMod (choose 3110 rom). Even before rooting it though, it was nice and snappy. I think for the price and all you can get and use this for, its a great value.
EDIT: Not resposible for any rooting failures
It's pretty easy though to do, just do your homework, read the guides and do a little research. Again, this was my first step into the Android world and it was pretty easy to do...only took me 3 attempts

If I bought this a couple of weeks ago at the Source, can I go in and get a price adjustment?

+1, I PM'ed with Bestbuy and they accepted the $209 price on Google Store 2 weeks ago. Over the weekend, I managed to use the Chapters/Indigo 25% off coupon on 2 Nexus 7 (32G), which came to $203 each pretax. I have just returned the 16G from Bestbuy. The battery is a concern with th Nexus 7, probably with any tablet in the market, but overall, I really like the Nexus 7. I meant to give one to my daughter, after playing with it for a few days, I thought of owning one. I have even sold my ereader to justify it.

Is this the best Android tablet in this price range? I've used my friend's Galaxy Tab 10" and it was really laggy. Is this a huge improvement over the previous generation?
I'm currently using a PlayBook OS2.1 and I'm loving it. It's extremely responsive which is what I'm looking for in Android (on a budget).

Newbie
Source.ca Galaxy Tab 7 plus for $150 was a better deal. They were selling demo's for the same price but actually shipped new white tab 7 plus to most if not all that bought it. It's a coin flip between this and Nexus 7 but I would go with Nexus 7 due to the processor of the Tab 2 is not as good compared to the old Tab 7 plus or 7.7.

The processor of the Galaxy Tab 2 is worse than the original? I somehow find that hard to believe...
