my experience
The Good:
I bought a few things from Dealfind before with no problems, same with Red Pocket Deals.
PS: If you ever buy something from Groupon, and it expires before you get a chance to use it. If you tell Groupon about it, they normally give you your money back no problem!
The Bad:
I've never bought anything from WonTon or TastyGo though, but I know they do email spamming... which makes me want to avoid them. I know several people who haven't signed up to their email subscription list before, and yet they get emails. Lame.

Warning....
to those of you who buy a lot from these website. I run a small business in London and within the last 2 days,i have Groupon,Teambuy and one other small one(can't even remember the name) called me to do advertising. That only tells me one thing, these deal sites are getting saturated and there aren't enough candies for each kid. So,if you have a lot of coupons in your hands(expecially from those smaller deal sites),you better use them up!
Not trying to create unnecessary panic here, but let's be real, both you and I know at some pt,the market will be saturated and some of the smaller sites won't be able to compete!

Should be a sticky thread.
I've used Wagjag and Groupon but now I'm seeing tons of these sites pop up. Nice to have a thread like this for quick reference.

I've only used a few of the sites, Wagjag, Groupon, Teambuy and Living Social being the only 4, I've never had any problems with them at all. I don't use too many though, I guess with only a few purchases I don't run into as much. *crosses fingers*

justthebestdeal.com no longer works and I didn't print the voucher as soon as I received the link (they never sent the voucher as an attachment.) Anyone else had problems with them?

I can add Teamsave to the list. Have used them a few times, and my experience with them in regards to The Butchers made my more comfortable with them. Gave me an instant refund as soon as I requested one

Be wary of Dealfind and any of their deals that you can use over the course of the year. I purchased a deal of 4 oil changes to be used over the course of a year from them about 6 months ago. Used 2, and called recently to make an appointment for my 3rd. I was told they were booked up till April.. which is when the deal expires.
I emailed Dealfind to get a refund and they insisted they only offer refunds within 30 days of the deal purchase, which is absurd as most of the places are usually so booked up you'd be lucky to get an appointment within 30 days! Initially as a "one time exception" they offered me Dealfind dollars. I said no, I'm not going to buy from them again. After some back and forth they finally offered a 1/2 refund back to my credit card.

Interesting... I've never had a problem with Dealfind so far. In fact, I love their referral program better than any other deal site. Money in the bank!
Groupon and Social Shopper are the ones I use most frequently. Have spent hundreds ...
Don't like GoLowDeal. I sent them the following questions:
- Is it just me or is it purposely set so that it's hard to locate the "log in" page?
- I'd like to buy something and refer a friend today, however, I'd like to know if this is like the other deal sites where there is actually a benefit for spreading the word of your site?
- Again, like other sites, there is usually a discussion forum for each deal to ensure we're only dealing with the best companies, I don't see this on yours and I find it very unsettling.
This was their response:
That is great feedback. Thank you for taking the time to share it. I assure you that we are of the highest integrity. I understand why you think that those features make you feel better about purchasing from us. I hope we can add those features as well someday.
I'm not assured.

Love dealticker
Ok, I have to say that this is one of the best posts I've seen so far.
I have personally purchased tons of stuff from many sites, including: DealTicker, FabFind, WagJag, Groupon, LivingDeal, LivingSocial, DealFind, TeamBuy, Kijiji, SwarmJam, etc.
Here's my take:
#1 winner by far: DEALTICKER
Worst of all:
#1 DealFind
#2 LivingDeal
#3 Groupon
Here are just some of my experiences:
DealTicker (15 vouchers purchased; 3 refunds): All purchases were fabulous, 3 refunds due to inability to make appointment times that fit my schedule. Refund was given back immediately.
FabFind (9 purchases; 2 refunds): 7/9 purchases were good, 2 vendors refused to honor vouchers. 2 refunds given (but had some hassles getting them)
WagJag (8 purchases; 5 refunds): Got some pretty bad experiences here, WagJag staff was courteous but the merchants weren't as nice. No issues getting refunds though.
Groupon (3 purchases; 1 refund): had the hardest time getting a refund, had to complain to the manager to get one as they were claiming that it was beyond their refund period, they were pushing credits on me.
LivingDeal (2 purchases; 1 refund): LivingDeal wouldn't give me a refund, at all. I was forced to settle for a credit or nothing!
DealFind (15 purchases; 9 refunds): Good: lots of interesting deals. Bad: MERCHANTS HATE DEALFIND! I found many times merchants complaining that DealFind didn't pay them, that they are not honoring my vouchers but will honor other deal sites vouchers, merchants would close down quickly after featuring on DealFind, merchants who would feature on DealFind one day would do a similar offer on another site the next day and at a lower price. The final kicker: when I requested refunds with DealFind because merchants would tell me that they're booked up 6-7 months forward, DealFind would quote me "appointments are based on availability, so please wait". Inexcusable. I often had to settle for their credits and then would have trouble again with other merchants.
I recommend that you post your experiences here and link directly to each site so that their "admins" take note.
Also, I noticed someone liking DealFind's referral program, I don't know if many people know, but I think DealTicker's referral program actually works best, they have a very high % payout, they send out CASH to your house, and they pay on EVERY voucher that's bought, irrespective if that person bought from them before or not. Just make sure that you send out that referral link!
I'm done my rant

I'm gonna disagree with you oñ dealticker because of their incident with Gladius International. The whole thing was managed poorly and I was out several hundred dollars for a couple of months. After that incident, I've started thinking twice about spending too much money on these sites and I've been clearing out all my vouchers one by one with my friends.
