This is probably the cheapest chinese phone you can get that has a ton of support from XDA.

Next step up would be a Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 with a 636 processor at $190 CDN from AliExpress, with the advantages being a bigger battery, slightly better processor, screen and camera.
Official Lineage OS 15.1 ROM

Nice minimal case

Are you sure about that? Says free shipping to Canada "Via Standard Shipping"!!! I'm not in Canada right now so I can't confirm, as I'm shipping my order overseas.

Says 1 out of 2, and no 3G. I think it's the same issue with all chinese phones' intl version.

Kimovil.com

I use it a lot for comparing phones, checking detailed specs and even finding the best current deals...

You're partially right:
FDD-LTE B1/B2/B3/B4/B5/B7/B8/B20
So no B12/17 - bad.

But! When I did my homework, I found LeEco Le 2 x522 (aka S3) with the same specs but full LTE band support. Got two for family for the same price (or even cheaper) from AliExpress.

EDIT: Funny, Kimovil says x522 has Mediatek Hello chipset, but I know for 100% it's Snapdragon

$114 is for Pink. Silver as shown in OP goes for $136. Is Silver worth $22 more lol?

I wana get this, but wtf is a LeTV. I guess I can risk it on cheap foreign tech if its just a hundred bucks. Seems like a great deal.

ANyone have the 526 or 522? I read the screen has a clicking sound when you press it in hard, doesn't sound like a big deal I guess.

I just bought this on ge-ar-b-est, they have the 11.11 price live now at $133 for the 64gb model.
I also added a case, glass screen protector, and added $7 insurance for a total: $144cdn

For shipping i chose under Priority line: CA special line 7-15 b-days.
A ge-ar-b-est blog said this was the best way to avoid the extra fees from customs and taxes. So far I paid very little, so I hope I do okay. I figure I will wait 2-4 weeks for this.

Is this site really accurate? Cuz I just checked RedMi Note 6 Pro and it doesn't list some bands other sites are listing (LTE B4 for example).

LeTV = LeEco. The part of the company that built phones is effectively dead. They do have other active subsidiaries, but those are unrelated at this point.
