How do you deal with these people, do you try to keep up with the Jones or screw it?

Ask yourself how it affects you in any way. If it does affect you, ask yourself why and why it's so important to you, your context, your life.

I don't try and keep up with anybody because doing so wouldn't benefit me in any meaningful way. Also, I'm old enough to not GAF about other people too much any more.

Keeping up with the joneses (or, in the case of rfd, the chens) will be a never ending battle. It's not worth it.

give lots of head for sick knee fadez, give lots of lap dances for ca$h wallet fades. Always pop that leg when kissing for dope honey combs, knee lots of mans in the crotch for killer whiskers, low ride like an og for them stacks. And traintracks? Only achievable by a legend in the denim game

For me that is an easy question. Which would also include "Know it alls" Laugh at them silently, then wonder who ties their shoelaces. Karma does all that is required.
For this site. I ignore them.

I laugh when I see women with LV purses -- how many of them have a stock portfolio? More like a credit card portfolio amirite??!?! :)

Ultimately, when you have your family, worry on your character instead of consumerism. Those people who just see fashion labels as a means for their self-worth, will more possibly have a negative overall relationship (if any at all) with their own future family. Bank your humanity and reward others later.

Priorities. You don't have to but if you got the desire to chill with peeps whom you envy then why not. Just don't expect an authentic relationship if they're attracted to shiny things.

Does the old adage, "Don't judge a book by its cover", mean anything these days?

What's with these people wearing shirts saying "Harvard" ?

If it is the university it would say Harvard University.

Pathetic.
