If it doesn't check BDSM, it's ain't a decent monitor.
(BDSM = blinker diagnostic sensing monitor)

Pays for itself in a single trip to the stealership to fill up blinker fluid.
Someone shares my sick humor. Dont forget the Muffler bearings.

Which dozen features?
For vehicles that did not come equipped with; we can add GPS and enable autostart.
We can enable police interceptor features such as secure idle and "dark car" mode.
Hidden Lincoln features such as opening and closing of front windows with the keyfob.

Those are just some of the things from the top of my head.

If you visit some of the specific Ford vehicle websites and check out the Forscan support section, you'll see a great deal of what's available to owners.

Only accessable with an OBD readers than can access both hs-can and ms-can.
Yes you are right, not the junk from eBay and Aliexpress.

With a reader without SWCAN and MSCAN, you cannot do much anymore if your car is newer the 2009. GM runs the ABS on SWCAN.

I saved myself almost $ 1000 with my Airbag problem code, the dealer was saying it was the airbag, I found out it was the clock spring. All with the OBDLink MX Bluetooth and ForScan.

Clones can also work, if you add a switch; but may lose connection during a programming session and can cause all sorts of headaches.

Clones are junk.

With the money I saved, my OBDLink MX paid for itself.

Yes, but you have to blame Scantool.net for that, not the Canadian dealers or even the small American dealers.

Scantool sells to Amazon at extremely low cost but sells to Mom and Pop's almost at the retail price.

What do you know, now it's on sale at Amazon.ca for $103.82
