Any help from RFD'ers would be greatly appreciated.
The Constable on my case is on a 4 day break, so any additional information I could provide to him would be great.

Guy came to my house for a meet up, no car. Stood on my driveway, his friend came out from the side of my house, they both assaulted me (threw me down, punched me, etc.) and attempted to fled. I chased them all the way down the street while calling the police, got their license plate as well as their cell phone number.. Guy almost ran me over in the process.
Already gave all the police the information, however like I said the Constable is on break so I would like to gather as much information as possible and report back to him to further the investigation.

They stole my Parajumpers Gobi in Army Green, Size Small with tags from SSENSE. So if anyone see's something like this for sale, please contact me so I can provide the info to the police incase the jacket is mine. I'd assume they'll attempt to sell on Kijiji or Facebook since that's presumebly where they found my posting.

From what I remember..
Guy that robbed me was about 5'6-5'7, Filipino decent (or at least an Asian with darker skin tone), pretty fat/overweight/chubby.
License Plate: AZNX 880
Car: Sometime of a caravan, not sure of the specific model or make, but the shape of the car was definitely like a caravan. It may have been olive-ish green, but it was way too dark to tell for sure.
Cell Phone Number (Probably stolen): 416-821-6636
He said he was coming from Barrie, however the traced number went back to Scarborough.. Hence why I believe it may have been a stolen phone.

If anyone has any information, please contact me. It'd be of great help, these guys are dirt bags.
They come to my house, assault me, and steal my jacket. People these days..

Dang.....that's messed up. Good luck on your case, usually the license plate is enough for them to trace. However unlike car accidents where insurance companies instantly get the guys. The cops are a lot slower on their process if they'll ever process anything period. Must have been a nice jacket for someone to go through all that to get.

It's a criminal investigation now, and trust me, the cops have much better access to information than I do. Unless the car was stolen too, they should have no problems getting these guys.

This actually saddens me. A while ago, the same thing happened to be with my Canada goose at my house. I chased them down too, but couldn't get their license plate. Respect to you for knowing to get their license plate. I gave my officer the email and link to kijiji ad. I got no contact except a month later when he asked me if I had any more information. I hope you are not hurt. I've learned from this to make my meetups wiser, meet during days at public places if possible, and only meet at house if they pull in with their car. They never showed up at my house again, but I was paranoid for a while, and avoided bringing/wearing stuff that costed a lot.

I hope they are caught and get what they deserve

I'm not even sure why I chased them when they threw me down once, and then again after I attempted to chase them.
Not really hurt, a few cuts on my hands, bruises on the hips, and sore every where on my body.. LOL

Yeah, the Police are dead useless, they ask you all these questions, yet they don't pursue the case. That's why I'm asking JAC for information.
Thing is, I've done selling for so long, night time, parking lots, houses, etc. And I guess I've been naive and lucky all this time.
Sign #1: He didn't wanna come to my door.
Sign #2: He didn't have a car on the driveway, or anywhere in sight.
He parked down the street, and into a side street where the van awaited. A long run.. LOL

If anyone's selling high-valued items, be aware.. I learned the hardway. Especially with a jacket, he asked to put it on so I had no way of getting it back, then get assaulted, and they fled.

That's good, I must've gotten punched to the face like 5-6 times, when I grabbed the jacket and tried pulling it away. Had cuts and bruises on my face because guy wore a ring. Took a while to explain to friends at school. Thankfully it didn't scar either. What matters is that you're at least safe, didn't get stabbed or anything. I wish I could link you to my thread with all the comments people posted with advice, but it seems to have disappeared.

Yeah If you're selling a high valued item, Either make sure It's In a public area or bring a buddy with you just In case. If the person has good feedback like on RFD and Heatware and what not then maybe It's okay to do It like a regular deal but when someone has 0 and Is kinda shady and you don't know It wouldn't hurt to be safe then sorry.. That's why I try to avoid Kijiji/Craiglist because they don't have a feedback system like RFD but they have Heatware..

What goes around comes around... Hopefully It bites those guys In the ass 10x harder then you got It..

this is an sensational story! I hope it's real. I'm voting for this thread for the RFD awards (no kidding). I am glad that you're ok and hopefully one day you can laugh about this. the important thing is they didn't pull a gun on you or take your wallet and ID and threaten you with more violence if you call the cops, etc. they're clearly amateurs, prolly kids who think they can get away with anything (and they probably could). but their lack of discretion will grow and one day they'll rob a bigger cat than them and get stabbed or shot right on the driveway of their victim.
