meeting up elsewhere doesn't change the fact that you've exposed yourself to a certain level of risk. just because you're meeting at a mall or a coffee shop doesn't change the fact that someone could ask to hold your merchandise and then just turn around and leave. all people will see is you trying to stop some guy from leaving or you attacking someone.
what people need are self defense classes to minimize hurt and protect themselves if they're going to do this BST thing a lot.
the truth is, the chance of getting robbed is never zero. and the higher the volume of your BST sales, the more you're exposed to this sort of unpleasantness.

actually that's not at all true, at malls nobody will rob you because there are cameras everywhere. lol, also if someone robs you and your running people will stop that person high chances not always.

id say the safe limit of bst yourself is around 200. anything more, unless you know that person or both of you have feedback, it could pose some danger. but seriously. i hate people that abuse the BST by buying low and then reselling.

Its a shame something as simple as deletion is a very difficult task on this website. Its actually impossible to delete posts and is incredibly hard to delete msgs inbox etc...

read post 2. basically, DK tries to buy low and resell peoples stuff. he got robbed in the process of selling a "1000" dollar jacket to a guy on kijiji. His price is too close to retail. if i try selling stuff i wouldnt make it close to retail. most of the people that come will be scammers.... be realistic.

@Qaz: Stop being an ignorant troll. You have absolutely NO IDEA what's going on with my situation. I did not ask for $1000, that'd be silly, I'm saying I lost $1000 since that is the retail cost of the jacket. This was already stated in previous posts if you were literate, and could read. You're annoying and unhelpful.
@Jimbo: I was told by the police to stop posting reports on the investigation and what not, so I deleted all the posts. Simple as that. No further questions are needed.

im just being relistic unlike your prices. if you look on ebay, ur lv bags go for around 5-700 tops. you are asking 1200+. if you post on kijiji and people say i will pay you 1100, they are probably just trying to rob you since no one will have an intention of paying that much. your price being too far from fair market doesnt help.
let this be a lesson that you can teach to everyone else. no one will pay close to retail for something that is USED. if someone had the money for 1.3K for a new item vs 1K for a used item, i wouldnt see why they would go through to trouble and risk of buying second hand.Last edited by qaz393; Nov 11th, 2011 at 03:11 PM.

@Qaz:*Realistic.
Anyways, there's such thing as testing waters. You set a high price and let people low ball you to see how much you can actually get for an item. I'm not actually looking to sell it for $1200 flat.
eBay is usually significantly cheaper regardless.
@Jimbo, sorry for sounding like a d**k, I honestly appreciate your concern. ><"
