I know it is not really our business, but even though 50k seems like a lot when your a starving student, it is really only an average salary. If you're living at home and lucky enough that your parents don't charge you rent, I would suggest you put away whatever the equivalent of a rent payment away to save for a home. Nobody NEEDS or DESERVES to drive a BMW. Buy something cheap, pay off your loans, get some cash put away, then look for a new car. Otherwise you are going to be playing catch up with your debt for a long long time.Nurse2B wrote: ↑I don't mean a 100k vehicle, lol. When I say luxury, I mean something like a 35k 1 series, or a 40k 3-series BMW. Most def affordable on 50k a year, especially with no other debts besides a student loan. When staying at home, i'm going to use my disposable income to pay off the loan as fast as I can though, I want to move out, but not before i've paid off my OSAP.
