Hey tonyford,
I have pretty much dealt with Enterprise or National Car and either company is pretty much the same when it comes to prices. Check their websites for coupons as they are usually offering something all the time. Usually one way rentals are more for some reason. You are best going for the return route. Also, mid-week is much more expensive then the weekends so if you can plan your trip on the weekend you will save. Oh and ask for unlimited mileage!! That is where they get you.
I know this does not help out a lot but it is based on past experience.

It's almost cheaper to lease a vehicle than to do a one way rental. And only four days? - just keep the car while you're there. My parents just went to Halifax last week - parking is very expensive downtown so see if you can get a hotel with free parking.
And you're getting married, so I say rent a nice big car and splurge! Driving on rough maritime roads, my dad tells me, wouldn't be fun in an econobox car.
