Sep 17th, 2005 11:40 AM #18This is the correct answer. A good C++ and a good JAVA reference book should do you well. I hardly ever used most of my textbooks except in some database courses. Most of the other books are unnecessary. Often I used Books 24x7 to look something up. Gen Ed courses are different, of course.

You don't really need to buy any books in my opinion, all the resources can be found on google and course website. Prehaps the IPC book is the only one that I suggest to buy.
