The price tag on the shelf shows the price is valid until the 28th. It doesn't mean that the price will go up/down, just that they will update the tag and set another expiry date. I'm hoping with the Black Friday pressure that the price goes down.

I don't know why, but for some reason I thought the u2412 was going to be $249.99. Now I'm not sure which monitor I should get. Kinda leaning towards the HP 27BW for 199.99. Even though it's only 1080p and not 1200p, and doesn't have the adjustability or usb hub built it. I had pretty much made up my mind on it, so I'm disappointed.

I've read a review on the Dell.ca website that indicates it is a Seagate drive inside, 5400 RPM

What's the difference between the 15 and 15R? Is it really just 2GB of more RAM and a 500GB larger HDD for the extra $150?

Page 3 of the flyer, $249. Dell 2412M IPS

Also, did anyone notice the flyer says effective from Nov. 30- Dec 01?? That is Sat & Sun, shouldn't it start on the 29th?

The U2412M is an IPS monitor on sale for $249.99...unless your specifically looking for 30"...

I am probably going to get one U2412M for myself, seems like good reviews. Any one have personal experience with this monitor?

Am I the only one that noticed that the Inspiron 15R @ 649$ deal says i7 in the description but in the details, it says i5. When I asked Dell they weren't sure and it might of been an error - I think people should be getting the i7 processor if it's what is indicated no?
Isn't that the law in Quebec?

Anywas - is this any good?
It seems like one of their most performing touch laptops...
I'm a Dell laptop user... and unfortunately won't change
4th Gen i7 processor
8gb RAM
1T HD

And it seems this thing is going reg. price 1240$ with a 390$ rebate in the US (850$),

and in Canada, surprisingly the same system is at reg. 779$???...

Sooo... I'm looking for a cheap-ish replacement for my crappy Intel Atom-based Netbook. Which is just so UNBEARABLY slow nowadays.
I'm thinking the $350 Inspiron 15 would be a good candidate... any thoughts on them?
