So it looks like I ended up getting screwed out of my cash back (at least through PayPal?).
I contacted Dell and they told me the order was declined and it's an issue PayPal is having. Anyone else having this issue? I've heard nothing about random orders being declined due to a glitch. But whatever, I ended up having to use my CC over the phone to complete the order. Good bye 5%!

Edit: and it's not like I could have canceled the order and tried a new one. The coupon doesn't even work anymore.

It was $349 as a "doorbuster" but went up shortly after the sale started this morning. As I said though, the Vostro looks better anyway. The only thing better about the Inspiron is it has USB 3.0 which surprisingly the Vostro 2420 does not, it looks like :O

Neither has mSATA or even ExpressCard from what I can see, but most people don't end up using those anyway.

This is their new low-end Vostro to replace the 1400 Series. I believe the body on these is all plastic & at this price point, it has to be. In the cheapo category, I'd say this is one of the better laptops build-wise though if it’s anything like it’s little brother.

Also, “London Slate” is the finish actually, not sure why it’s listed under the display, lol. Basically it’s a fake brushed metal look. It’s just a TN panel underneath.

Spoke to a rep and it comes with the following:

The first 2 attempts to use Paypal did not work for me either. I logged into my Paypal account in another window and then it did work.
