Hard to get excited about a $250 Venue 8 Pro when it was just $99 and $199...

This is really a bummer. I just ordered the Inspiron 15 7000 last week with exactly the same specs as the one mentioned in this flyer for $999. Does anyone know if they are willing to adjust what I paid for the newly listed price? Or do I need to return the laptop and re-order?

ps. I have not received the laptop yet but it has been shipped.
Definitely call them ask. Yes, worst case scenario would be to return and reorder, but I can't see why they would prefer that you have to go that route.

im looking for a new desktop

the holy grail of deal that I am comparing to is the HP envy 1569:

639-fs-hp-envy-h8-1569-desktop-computer ... d-1374552/

Good specs for a good price.

I sadly hesitated on that one and missed out.

I'm looking at:

http://www.redflagdeals.com/flyers/dell ... ge=4#flyer

The XPS 8700..more expensive, but better specs (I think)...i can be patient and wait...but would appreciate some feedback as to whether the dell that will be on sale is a good deal relative to the hp envy 1569..

Thanks for the help!

I ordered a Inspiron 15 7000 as well. The sale price was around 929? Looks like mine is arriving on Monday. But will try to call in to have price adjusted.

For sure! At least match the prices from the Microsoft Store a couple weeks ago.

as far as i know, you can return product within a month or so as long it has not been used. unfortunately, you will have to pay for shipping, insurance etc so it isn't worth doing to save a few dollars. in the past i have always been happy with their product, but not their service. you gotta know exactly what you want and at what price. once the product is in production, it's basically yours to keep.

fyi, they just had the inspiron 660 core i5/12gb pkg for $479 on black friday. at this price it was a decent deal considering the graphics card needs to be upgraded (pretty limited as is, also no DVI output, only a single HDMI + VGA which is kinda crappy if you plan on multiple screens) so for $100 more, not such a great deal.

I don't remember coming across that deal, anyways the integrated graphics kinda put me off. Still waiting for one with a decent graphics card.

How can dell venue 8 pro @ $249.99 be a door DoorBuster? BB and FS have been selling it at that price. It should be $199 or lower!!!

I find the Dell deal less and less interesting, I seldom wake up early to check it now during the Dell deals.

Does the Inspiron 15 7000 have dedicated graphics? Also, how's the battery life?

i'm assuming the dell 15 7000 does not have the dedicated graphics card base on their website configuration.

If i'm not mistaken, FS and BB is selling the 16gb ram and dedicated card for $899 at BD
http://www.futureshop.ca/en-CA/product/ ... f926ecen02

http://www.bestbuy.ca/en-CA/product/del ... ca6982en02

i'm interested in the 17" version at FS for $999, but i'm not sure about the description if it is the Full HD screen 1920 x1080 or 1600 x 600. on the first page it show the 1600x600 but the description tab is the Full HD.

does anyone knows if these are exactly the same specs as the dell website, or is it a custom made for FS and BB

Hey, from my experience the one at fs is a older model maybe i7 second or third gen I say this beacuse compare the visiuals the picture in the fs my family member has it which is the older model. I might be wrong I suggest you look deeper into it and try the dells webstie because they give better deals. Also try looking at the xps 15 if you are down to put money into a amazing machine

FYI, following the links in the flyer allows you to get the sale price now.

I was curious about the Wireless Touchpad

1. I checked Dell's site because the referral links always fail for me and saw regular price ($69.99-$20=$49.99).
2. I looked at the flyer, and clicked for a closeup.
3. Clicked "view product page".
4. Saw the sale price ($69.99-$40=$29.99)
5. Clicked add to cart and it was mine!

Happy shopping!

edit:

Looks like it doesn't work with the other items I checked, but the Touchpad is still good to go!
