This is really a bummer. I just ordered the Inspiron 15 7000 last week with exactly the same specs as the one mentioned in this flyer for $999. Does anyone know if they are willing to adjust what I paid for the newly listed price? Or do I need to return the laptop and re-order?

ps. I have not received the laptop yet but it has been shipped.
The one with Full HD screen (1920x1080) now sold for $1,149. It seems not likely they will drop $270, but who knows?

i'm assuming the dell 15 7000 does not have the dedicated graphics card base on their website configuration.

If i'm not mistaken, FS and BB is selling the 16gb ram and dedicated card for $899 at BD

http://www.bestbuy.ca/en-CA/product/del ... ca6982en02

i'm interested in the 17" version at FS for $999, but i'm not sure about the description if it is the Full HD screen 1920 x1080 or 1600 x 600. on the first page it show the 1600x600 but the description tab is the Full HD.
http://www.futureshop.ca/en-CA/product/ ... db2e63en02

does anyone knows if these are exactly the same specs as the dell website, or is it a custom made for FS and BB
I might just go with the one from bestbuy since it comes with a dedicated GPU and an I7 Haswell CPU.

Hey, from my experience the one at fs is a older model maybe i7 second or third gen I say this beacuse compare the visiuals the picture in the fs my family member has it which is the older model. I might be wrong I suggest you look deeper into it and try the dells webstie because they give better deals. Also try looking at the xps 15 if you are down to put money into a amazing machine
FS website is shown as 4th gen I7
To me, they look identical to dell website. Maybe the picture is not identical as it is shown in black, but someone on the review said they received a silver color

If FS and BB has the same model as Dell website, then it is a much better deal, as it come with a dedicated card and 16gb ram

I was hoping, thought didn't expect, we might see a deal on a Venue 11 Pro. Guess I'm waiting until the new year. Some jumped on pre-orders at Amazon.com but I've read that some of those may be getting cancelled. Supply issues maybe? The Surface Pro is too much and the T100 needs slight better BQ for my needs. The Bay Trail Dell seems about right. Wallet is safe, at least temporarily.
I am one of those who order online (dell.ca) when it was shown in price error (Venue 11 Pro, 64Gb, Atom for $314.00). So far it works great display is amazing!!! and it fast.. I did order yesterday the dell stylus for ($20).

I ordered the 15" 7000 with 16gb of ram and dedicated graphics during Dells Black Friday sale for $1050 ($350 off) so 999 at FS or Bb is better but both FS and BB models have bilingual keyboard while my direct from Dell model came with an English keyboard. Worth the extra $50 IMO.

Anyone thinking of ordering one from FS or BB should consider the keyboard layout.

Why are the desktop deals so cold? FS/BB is better.

as far as i know, you can return product within a month or so as long it has not been used. unfortunately, you will have to pay for shipping, insurance etc so it isn't worth doing to save a few dollars. in the past i have always been happy with their product, but not their service. you gotta know exactly what you want and at what price. once the product is in production, it's basically yours to keep.
Interesting. They advertise free return shipping here: http://www.dell.com/learn/ca/en/cadhs1/ ... returns-ca

Ship it for free and if you don’t love it, return it.
Buy Dell PCs, electronics or accessories and get free 5- to 7-day ground shipping. It’s easy, with no minimum purchase required. And if you decide something isn’t for you, just ship it back within 30 days of your invoice date for a full refund, including free return shipping. Dell will even waive the restocking fee*.

Between the Inspiron 15 4th gen i5, 6GB RAM, 750GB hard drive (and 4 cell battery?) for $480 and the Inspiron 15R with the same 4th gen i5, 8GB RAM, and 1TB hard drive (apparently 6 cell battery), for $580...are there any other differences than what I listed? Planning to buy for my girlfriend and I know she won't take advantage of the extra 2GB or 250GB hard drive space.

Also wondering if that first one I mentioned actually is a 4 cell battery like it says on the specifications.

FS and BB will be 899$ at BD for the Inspiron 7000 15" , so it is 150$ off from black friday. it is much better off with bilingual kb for $150off

17" is $999
