Coupons can't be stacked here. Ordered one for my mother at 650$ + taxes. :)
If I could stack the coupons, I'd be tempted to order the FHD one at 1150$ - 100$ - 50$ = 1000$ + tx.
If anyone knows how to stack, please let me know! Thanks.

My first notebook was a Dell Inspiron 7000. Cost over $5000 in 1998. It was a Pentium II. 333 megahertz. It's strange to see them reusing the model numbers. Strange.
There is no god. But it still feels good to be kind to people, animals, and the environment, so keep doing that.

Try emptying your cart, and applying our $100 code first, then applying the $50 off. It works for me.

Yes it did work, but for US English model only. I ordered a bilingual one for my mother so I could only use the 100$ off, which is good already! :)
Still on the fence whether I order the 1149$ one (i7/1080p) for 999$. Still more expensive than at Best Buy US (880$ USD) but not as bad as the standard 1149$ price.

I received one yesterday (the first one I had ordered for my mother, at 699$ + taxes, but mistakenly was shipped as US English - good because I could order another one for 649$ yesterday :) ), I must say that the build quality is definitely good. Still not 100% convinced on touch screen usefulness compared to a great touchpad like on the MBP. Hmm... first world problems.

Can anyone enlighten me as to why Dell picked this particular cpu (I7 4500U) in a thousand+ dollar laptop? I checked cpubenchmark.net and it's mediocre at 1.8GHz (rated comparable to a whole bunch of I5 cpu's). Would an informed consumer spend this kind of money for a Dell?

It's energy-efficient.

Does anyone know if it has US keyboard or bilingual one? No US keyboard = deal breaker for me.
