VIZIO 39 Inch LED TV D39HN-E0 HDTV (+ Free Shipping) $242.49

Deal Link:
Price:
$242.49
Savings:
$80
Retailer:
Dell.ca
EDIT ON PRICE: I received an Email from Dell showing this at $242.49 (when clicking their link) but if I surf to their site and find this on my own, it shows a different URL and a price of $249.99 so perhaps you have to log in to see the lower price?

If you're in the market for a low priced 39" HDTV, this one is at sweet spot but it is 720p so perhaps not best suited for all rooms and uses.

The D-Series Full-Array LED TV features a modern design, and brilliant picture quality, VIZIO's D-Series brings you HD entertainment at an incredible value.

Manufacturer's website: https://www.vizio.com/en-ca/d39hne0.html

Compare at $329.99 at Costco.ca

Thanks to kanthp for reminding us all about additional savings at Ebates and other places.

Good deal but I would rather pay a few bucks more and get it at costco. You may need the warranty on these low end vizios.

I just tested the check out and there's even more savings. Dell does NOT add on the environmental fee whereas Costco.ca does. I think that's about $12 on a 39" tv and $24 over 39".
Not sure if other retailers are still adding the environmental fee (applies to Ontario only) as the Provincial Gov't is removing it from the consumer's view and laying it back onto the retailer/manufacturers. So in the end you still pay it but at which point changes.

Question for the more experienced: Are Vizio & Insignia kind of the same quality wise?

I'm guessing they're more likely to crap out than say a Samsung?
