I have that exact laptop and I paid the same price.
If I were to order again I would not get the Sound Blaster Audigy, or the extra gig of memory.
The Windows Vista Ultimate that comes with this system is only 32bit so you can really only use 3.2gb of the memory. The sound is no real improvement over the standard audio offering to.
I did however get a better screen that goes up to 1650 x 1080 or something like that included in my price after emailing my cart to a rep to see what they could do for me on a better price.

Dell.ca: XPS 1530 for $1399.99. Is this a good deal?
I want to buy an XPS 1530 from dell.ca, but I want the best deal. Is $1399.00 ($420 off) a good deal for this laptop, or should I wait for a better deal for an XPS 1530 on the dell website. I upgraded the ram from 3 to 4 gb of ram which is $50 more. Below are the specs for the laptop.
