I don't care what they put up, as long as there is a price error. Then I'll buy that s**z, cause thats how RFD rolls.

Why dont you ****** just pay full price for what you need and you will find the world opens up to you. Money aint a thang.

No, I made this account ages ago, then I forgot this site existed. I recently remembered and now I'm looking here for a good laptop deal.

Why don't you pay full price for the laptop that you need and you will find the world opens up to you. Money aint a thang.

The u2412 has 8ms response time. Isn't this considered atrociously high for a gaming monitor? The games I typically play are FPS and RTS games. I don't really do any graphic/video editing work on my comp, so a diff branded 1MS / 2MS monitor would be better suited for me?

Also, I already have a perfectly working 4 year old 24" Samsung monitor (245BW), so if I were to purchase this, it'd be as a replacement for that monitor in hopes to get better picture quality after 4 years of technological imrpovement, and not as a "dual monitor" setup.

But again, the 8ms spec on this monitor scares me....

Advise?!

It's not a gaming monitor - but it's perfectly suitable for games. If you need sub 2ms response and 120 Mhz refresh rate then this monitor isn't for you.

If the monitor is perfectly suitable for games, yet not a "gaming monitor", what would a "gaming monitor" bring to the table that this one doesn't?

I don't follow your logic...

Please elaborate, thanks!

I advise to read this very thorough review of the u2412 which also lays out the the differences between u2412 and u2410

Less than 7 hours to go!!
I wonder if they'll have that LG Super Slim Blu-Ray sound bar with wireless Subwoofer again in the $379-$399 range like the last couple of times.
Has anyone used or seen them in action? Any good?

Doubt it will happen, maybe 310 at best, but we never know...

I scored mine for 319$ wednesday through dell online chat, funny that you can haggle through this to have discounts.

It was on sale for $279 last week @ dell.au, so there's a good chance it will drop below $300 here @ dell.ca, I know the exchange rate is not exactly the same, just take that as a reference since their MSRP is also $399.

Why do people keep saying this? It's like going to a Mac forum and suggesting they all buy Dell's. If we wanted to pay full price, we wouldn't be here.
