I don't know why it's happening but it lists as $1799.99 for me.

People considering this should be wary of that PSU, or think about replacing it with a better one. Not that 460w isn't enough, but prebuilt system almost always come with crap PSUs that have poor efficiency and reliability.

Why would you recommend a gsync monitor to someone buying into AMD? They should be aiming for a FreeSync monitor

Would a 465w PSU work with a system with the rx 580 8g gpu? Doesnt that gpu draw a lot of power?

if you only play older games (csgo, dota2, diablo3) and you dont see yourself ever playing newer games that may require better graphics, would you guys say the basic model at LINK is worth it considering after $75 discount, mpp, ebates, and the dell rewards it ends up being less than $1000 taxes in? if so, is it worth adding the 256GB M.2 Solid State Drive (Boot) + 1TB 7200RPM Hard Drive (Storage) for $150?

thanks!

no the link you have is a ryzen 5 1400, slow compared to 1700x.

Should be fine for anything short of a 1080 Ti. Even then 465w should be plenty. I run a 1070 mining and/or gaming 24/7 off a 450w with zero issues. Logically, Dell wouldn't be bundling these with RX 580s if they weren't up to the task. They want to deal with RMAs even less than you do.

IMO, this deal is kinda weak without an SSD for a boot drive. To the poster asking whether it's worth the upgrade at $150 - yes, definitely. Nobody should be forced to use a computer without an SSD in 2017.

A year or two ago when i was looking in BTS and hot deals for gpu, ive read many people mentioned about using a gpu for mining and i was confused as sh1t. I was so baffled since i dont follow up on technologies as much as ive used to; pre 2010.

People were saying its a fire sale of used high quality gpu because of mining and In my head i was thinking mining = digging up dirt. It didnt make sense to me but that was all i could think of at the time. May be i should have googled but i didnt bother. Didnt bother to ask either because i know some internet nazi police would come in with "ever heard google bruh?".

Only recently maybe less than two months ago ive found out what people meant about this kind of "mining".
