[Dell] Dell: Readers' Choice Offers Live (2209WA $209, 4xAA Eneloop $10, BT Mouse $15, More)

The votes are in and the RedFlagDeals.com Exclusive offers are live. There are 9 exclusive electronics and accessories offers and 6 exclusive systems (we got an extra one) in all.

For the electronics and accessories, you must use the provided coupon codes to get the discounted pricing. They are available in limited quantities. For the Eneloops and Bluetooth Mice, the code will apply the discount for up to 5 items in one order. For the other items, it's the codes will only apply to one of the corresponding items in an order. That means if you want to pick up multiple 2209WA monitors, you need to separate the orders.

Electronics and Accessories
Systems
We managed to secure some high demand items for the electronics and accessories. The Ultrasharp 2209WA is always in demand. It uses an E-IPS panel which gives you superior colour reproduction and viewing angles compared TN panel monitors. It's only been cheaper once before, and that was the introductory/possible price error price. We also know that big Eneloop bundles aren't for everyone (or at least more than one bundle), so we've worked out the return of the $10 4xAA Eneloop offer. The Dell 5-button Bluetooth Mouse which was also popular during the a VIP event a couple of months ago is also back! The Nintendo DSi at $149 is also worth a mention.

Shipping is free for all items.

Original:

We're once again working with Dell.ca to bring RedFlagDeals.com readers something special! It's a Readers Choice Promotion where you get to pick systems that go on sale. The Consumer Division of Dell.ca (where you'll find the Inspiron, Studio, and Alienware lines) has prepared a selection of desktop and laptop systems for you to choose from. The 5 systems with the most votes will be put on sale next week at the listed prices (April 27 through 6AM on April 30).

That's not all though, we'll also have a selection of exclusive electronics and accessory offers to match. There will be more information about those later, but I can reveal one hot exclusive for now... the ever-popular Dell Ultrasharp 2209WA E-IPS LCD will be featured at $209 once more!

The polling will end at 12PM EST on Friday, April 23. Items will go on sale on Tuesday, April 27 (that's next week).

dell needs to bring better video card in their laptop than that
their alienware only has 335M

http://www.notebookcheck.net/Mobile-Gra ... 844.0.html

it is weaker than a 5650 and a few hundred dollars more expensive, i doubt their built quality worth that extra few hundreds

P.S. look at the cpu, it's not even i3, i5 or i7

scroll down the list, lol 178

Prices on those systems need to be lowered $100-200 bucks each for this to be a decent sale.

Are there any other retailers, with tech support, offering comparable systems at these prices? Or is this statement based off a DIY setup?

Please share if the former! If the latter, I don't trust myself enough to build/support a computer :( .

Keep in mind the M11x is an 11.6" laptop -- you're not going to shoehorn an i5/i7 into it easily. If you look at the video cards from #1-45 on that list, see how many of those have ever been put into a 13" or smaller laptop. It'll be a short list.

Replaced my desktop during the last reader's choice sale, Vostro w/ an i860. Deals don't seem quite as strong this time. I suppose we need to see the full specs before deciding.

I skipped out on Studio 15 when it was $849 two weeks ago, now it's going to be $799. This is great!

I can't tell if you're clueless or just trying to be a smartass.

Mini: plenty of netbooks, regular price at that price. Here's a superior EeePC for the same price. Hell, Dell themselves has a similar config (160GB HD instead of 250GB) for $329 right now.
http://www.amazon.ca/Seashell-1005PE-MU ... 473&sr=1-1

Here's a similarly specced laptop from Future Shop, the biggest ripoff in Canada, for the same price as the Studio laptop
http://www.futureshop.ca/en-CA/product/ ... 817d3ben02

$999 Alienware M11x: SU7300, 4GB, 320GB HD, GT335M 1GB, Wifi N, Win 7
This config is already $999 on Dell's website. In fact you'd have the option of picking a cheaper processor for $899.

$849 Studio 8100 PC: i5-750, 8GB, 750GB HD, DVDRW, Radeon 5450 1GB, Win 7
http://www.futureshop.ca/en-CA/product/ ... f7b477en02
$999 Studio 8100 PC: i7-860, 8GB, 1TB HD, Blu-ray, Radeon 5450 1GB, Win 7
$999 Studio 9000 PC: i7-920, 6GB, 1TB HD, DVDRW, Radeon 5450 1GB, Win 7
http://ncix.com/products/index.php?sku= ... cture=Acer
$1399 Studio 9000 PC: i7-920, 12GB, 1TB HD, Blu-ray, GTX260 1.8GB, Win 7
http://configure.dell.com/dellstore/con ... o-xps-9000

etc etc.

Get my point? Took 10 minutes to see that most of these are regular prices, not a sale.

Definitely clueless - appreciate the links - can't check most of that stuff while I'm at work - will have to wait until I get home.
