[Dell] S2417DG 144Hz 1440p GSync Gaming Monitor - $440

A 144Hz (overclockable to 165Hz) Monitor with 1440p resolution and GSync for $440 if you add 10%OFFMONITOR + 2% MPP coupon on top of original discount. Regular price is $550.

You can technically drop it to $405 if you include the current 8% ebates (usually 2%)! On top of all this, you get 5% Dell Rewards as well. Pretty solid for a monitor of these specs.

That's a really good deal... I paid a lot more for this excellent gaming/work monitor less than a year ago.

Holy Molly this is an awesome deal. Thank you for sharing this!

I paid $690 all in last year, and got a second hand one early this year for $450. This is a awesome gaming monitor, tempting for the third one right now.

The issue was the pale colour like all the other TN panel monitors, but the 165hz delivers a totally different experience when you play fps games.
Dang OP, I spent a lot of time today convincing myself I don't need the oculus, and thought my wallet was safe. GG

Edit:
Sorry I thought that was the 2716dg, rushed in without reading the title carefully. But this is still a good price for 165 hz monitors! :p

I have the 27 inch version of this monitor as well and I really like it. I play mainly FPS games and notice some marginal performance increase with it but for $440, you can't really go wrong.

whats preferable for gaming (mostly first person shooters (single player), and action games)

1440p @ 60hz on IPS

or
1440p @ 120hz+ on TN

A 1440p 165Hz monitor with GSync for < $500 is very hard to come by!

1440p @ 120hz+ on TN hands down.
I can track my targets so much better without the panning blur.

If I have a RX580, does this work with Freesync? or only work with Nvidia cards?

Dell Members Purchase Program. Just Google that and input a random company name and you'll have access to the 2% off
