best price yet for RX100 V, not to mention all of the other Sony cameras of interest like A6300, A6500 on Dell site. Would totally snatch this up if I had the funds.

Too bad the RX100 V was crazily priced to begin with, but that seems to be the trend with all the newest cameras these days.

The coupon is not listed on ebates. Can we still get cash back by using it?

How do the prices look for the Mark 3 or Mark 4? I'm not informed enough to know if these are good prices.

Great price if you can get it to work out around $1000

V has incredible hybrid video AF over the IV (I used to have a IV, eyeAF is pretty cool too)
I'd have a ton of fun shooting 4K with the V on a CraneM
That said, not good if you like shooting long duration vids (auto overheat shutdown), my transitioned clips are usually all short

Funny, Sony marketing will have the competitor unstabilized but you get the idea for high precision AF:

I still have my mk3 I bought for $600 when it came out and it's been great, took it with me all over the world and it's been a reliable companion. Easy to use and you can point and click and trust the results will be good.

I'm not a photographer so when I buy a camera I am mostly paying for the memories and it's been well worth the price. I would imagine the mk5 would be similarly excellent

Damn, missed that $15 coupon when I grabbed the 10-18mm...

This is a great price for the best compact camera on the market. The slo-mo is wicked awesome.

Nooooooooo, at this price I'm tempted! I want it just for 960 FPS slow-motion but I already have too much other gear that stays warm and cozy in my bag.

Total time is related to card storage size. Around 5 continuous minutes before auto heat shutoff, but if you want to keep viewers engaged, I usually don't make longer than 5 second clips eg; our last vacation.

For recitals or events where it's sitting on a tripod well over 5 minutes unmanned, I'd use a different video camera.

Oh why?

I heard the m4 has 10 minutes of 4k recording only

Can u disable the 5 minutes auto heat shut off on m5?
