Considering that an AMD Rzyen R7 1700X is currently $400, and an RX 570 4GB is around $500... you're getting a nice kit that will run most current games at 1080p with solid frames.

+$44 Dell promo card for future purchases over $100 :D

570 at 4GB for $500 isn't really a price people are willing to pay. So I wouldn't include that. R7 1700X is also an odd buy, Even if we don't count the up coming Ryzen+ revision in 2 months, most people find more luck getting 1700 clocking pretty much exactly as well as 1700X.

Still, a very decent price, but not very hot in my opinion.

Agree to disagree. Anyone looking for a complete system right now will pay $1200+ for the same specs, including Windows 10 etc. And the $44 promo brings it down to basically $900.

Let's call it 950$ pre-tax since you pay tax on 1100$ not 946$, but also get that promo card.

RX 570 is like a GTX 970 / GTX 1060 3GB isn't it? So like 300-350$, the Ryzen 1700(X) worth 300~350$. Slow 8GB RAM for Ryzen is worth like 75$. A cheap B350 mobo is 75$. That's 800$ so far. Leaving 175$ for Windows, Case, 1TB HDD, PSU, CD, WIFI/Bluetooth and it being built for you.

I'd say this is a pretty great deal with the current market. If you think a 4GB GTX 570 is worth 500$, than it's an even better deal, but I'll go with my estimate of 350$ ish

Ryzen R7 1700X is $407 on Amazon.ca right now, $460 on Newegg.ca. Lowest price, AVAILABLE, RX 570 right now I've seen is $480.

1070 is better than 570 by pretty far. So does i7 8700.

But justify for 1700 (after tax I would assume), it's depend on your need.

For me, I would never go beyond i5 need so with me, the deal OP mention is better than your current rig.

Use $50OFF$900PC to get a further 50$ discount (for some strange reason $75OFF$1100PC doesn'T work)

RX 570 performance card at 310$ https://www.memoryexpress.com/Products/MX70207. NVIDIA is coming out with "Turing" in March
Ryzen 1700 is actually just about the same as the X except it comes with a decent cooler, and I've seen it at 320~350$ a decent amount of times, 365$ right now, and Zen+ coming in april.

Honestly, 650$ for both of them is a generous evaluation and hardly a "deal" if normal full price a month before new releases is 675$.

Honestly the more I think about it, this is more of a pretty good deal than a great one.

EDIT: with the extra 50$ off maybe a great one afterall

Works if you add the 10$ keyboard or mouse, so you save 65$

I hadn't heard about Turing, good thing I just sold my GTX 1070 for significantly more than I bought it for! :D

Gonna play battleground, COD, Fifa18. Also, my monitor is 1080p.

Should I get the deal and add ram+SSD?

SSD sure, RAM, for now I'd just try and minimize RAM usage when playing games (no 55 tabs of chrome open at the same time) and you should be fine
