I purchased one of these a few months ago the last time they were on sale.
Works well and recommended.

Dell Tuesday report IOMEGA EXTERNAL 1TB $99, Belkin Outlet $29, etc.

Decent price for a 1TB external hard drive if you need one.

Missed the last time the external hd was at this price. I remember some were able to use coupons with it.
Anyone with a spare coupon they could share? Please PM me. Thanks.

Just PM'd the iomega drive at FS for $101.69 all in (FS is selling it for $200).
http://www.futureshop.ca/catalog/pro...68&catid=23795
Also used a $25 gc from a FS error so it sorta cost me only $76.Last edited by JWL; Nov 3rd, 2009 at 06:43 PM.

The hard drive inside seems to be a Seagate as the name in device manager is: ST310005 28AS.
The Iomega box says the cache is "8MB or more"
This German website seems to associate this number with a drive that has 32MB cache.
Seagate website confirms that ST31000528AS is a 32MB cache drive

Here is the comparison from the Laplink website. I don't know which version Dell is selling for $29.99, but I'd guess it is the home version. The netbook version requires the target computer to have an atom cpu.
