I wished the upgrades were a bit cheaper. Good deal for the basic laptop though.

Upgrades are expensive.
I want a webcam and a good display thats already 590 and I get some nice clearance items at staples for about that price which would have similar if not better specs

The base price is sweet! Also, $50 more for ultrasharp WXGA+ LCD is fairly reasonable too. Or, at least don't forget the crucial 2G So-DIMM from memoryexpress.

this is pretty nice for a new dell laptop. but for the price, i think id prolly get a refurbrished hp from futureshop instead. a couple of the hp laptops were going at this price during boxing day and had some specs that were a lot nicer, mainly ati/geforce graphics cards, 6cell battery, and bigger hds

The direct link works for me, but could someone please tell me how to get to this particular laptop from the main Vostro page? Or main Dell page, if easier? I'd like to direct a friend to it over the phone, can't send an email.
Thanks

Here's the page for the Vostro 1310. Not the same price. $200 more for same processor.
