You should put your foot down and demand a new unit, otherwise refund your money to the last penny. Refurbs are unacceptable!

Dell warranty replacements[LCD]
Has anyone actually received any "good" refurbished replacements? My 20" dell is exhibiting image retention problems on the top portion of it otherwise it's perfect. I'm supposed to receive a "refurb" replacement...I can live with image retention but I can't live with dead pixels anywhere.

Well it's about a year old...I don't think they would send me a brand new 2005fpw would they?
It's being shipped..if it turns out that it sucks I'm going to send it right back. Reply With Quote
