Just an FYI - their slim desktop units are great to use as an HTPC - I grabbed one for like $80 about a year back, slapped a $25 slim-form HDMI video card in, and it works wonderfully!

Funny little story... way back in the day, I bought a 21" CRT from Dell refurbished. It ended up being junk and I needed to return it. Some guy from Dell came to my house in his personal vehicle to pick it up. Small time operation...

Funny you mention that, I remember buying a flat screen monitor when they first came out and the same thing: I can't remember the brand but they sent someone out from the office to pick it up and give me another one.......

I looked at accessories and the new 24" monitors are cheaper on the last DOD than these refurbished units, and laptops were much cheaper on Cyber Monday. These would be hot if they were at least 50% off or more.

Took a look at the desktops and they are overpriced for what you are getting...~$200 to $350 for 2 GB / 4 GB + 80 GB / 160 GB!

Dell = overpriced stuff
My signature was deleted by RFD because my truth is inconvenient for them. Be aware!

I keep coming back to the site to find something like this but have had no luck so far. For a $100 or less, I'd buy a unit for an HTPC just as you did.

Hmm, I bought a docking station on the Cyber Monday promo @ 25% off. Could've saved a few dollars since it's now 33% off.
