Demerit Points - Ontario

How do I know if I have any (and if so, how many) demerit points on my driving record in Ontario?
A bargain is something you don't need at a price you can't resist.

You can request your Driver Record, which has your current demerit points, by visiting any Service Ontario kiosk or check out http://www.mto.gov.on.ca/english/dandv/ ... cord.shtml

#1 - why would you NOT know if you have any demerit points?
#2 - when you want information from the government agencies ... it's always about money ... this is Canada.

I can't remember what I ate for lunch yesterday, so how am I supposed to remember if that speeding ticket I received around three years ago is still counted or not? Or if it cost me 3 or 4 points? Not all of us obsess over the little things; some of us actually have a life. Full props to you if you remember every iota of trivia that ever happened to you, but not all of us are so blessed.
