Dentist **** ups!
OMG I cant believe what my money grabbin dentist did to me.. I went for 2 fillings( bottom molars) and when she was done I came out with my upper left molars done. WTF, she just drilled two perfectly good teeth without any cavities. I grilled her the **** about it and I could tell she knew what **** up she had done. I cant belive this, even her receptionist confirmed that it was supposed to be the bottom teeth and all the dentist could tell me was that it had cavity anyway so I did that instead. Should I ask for the xray and get a second opinion??????

I can see why you're piss about it, what your dentist should do is, do your bottom teeth as well and not charge you for it. Second opinion X-ray is good if you want to pursue suing your dentist

haha oh man........thats friggin horrible......sue her for malpractice!!
Sometimes I think dentists are a little fake:
I had some "lip bumper" device a couple years back...it was about 6 months between checkups, and i NVR wore it when i went to bed (like I was supposed to)......i wear it on the way to the appointment. He tells me what a fantastic job this "device" that cost me thousands of dollars is doing and he said he can tell that I've been wearing it often.
Sometimes I think they give us all these devices for the heck of it....do they work off comission or something??

Typical business
You have a lot of cavities... clearly a dentist doesn't work on good teeth if it's not needed. Your dentist attacked the most needy teeth first (sounds like the bottom set is just about gone) that could be saved cheaply... that's the usual trick to enable more teeth to be fixed and hence more time/money to be spent on your mouth. I usually let qualified people do their job and if there was some missunderstanding about what teeth took priority, then I would ask for an explaination... and not tell the dentist how to do the job. I'm sure the dentist was taken back... an Xray costs, and a second opinion will see the new work... know what's up and will not rat on a fellow club member. Just think of this as the rocky road to new pearlies and switch dentists.

unless she was exceptionally hot....or you thought she was exceptionally hot after being drugged

Dec 21st, 2004 11:03 AM #9Huh?? I never got anything like that. All I got were needles in my mouth to numb everything. After that the dentist just kept yanking...pulled out 3 in one sitting one time. I was only 10 years old...

No offence, but when you guys ask 'Is your dentist hot?'
Why does that matter?
Do you stop thinking with your 'top' head, and star thinking with your 'below the waist' head?

Ridiculous.
I'd be pissed too if my dentist did that.
My dentist poked and proded looking for cavities, and really wasn't paying attention to what they were doing... they YANKED the inside of my top/back molar tooth out. I spit out and yelled 'WHat the **** are you doing? You just yanked my tooth out!' To which they retorted "No, I didn't it's just food!!!"
So I spit out the 'material', and it turned out to be my tooth. The dentist had hollowed that tooth out!
She stated that the tooth was weak and that was going to happen ANYWAY.
I needed a root canal and a cap, and they charged me for it (discounted???).
I never went back there again.
I'd like to sue, but I do not have the time, effort and money required to do so.
My New dentist said that I have very nice teeth, and asked how come I had a root canal done in the back? And exclaimed 'Ohhhhh dentist error' when I told him.
Teeth are irreplacable, and if you are not happy with service, change your dentist.Last edited by north77; Dec 21st, 2004 at 11:26 AM.
