Department Outing Ideas?

So I have been placed in charge of organizing the next department outing, which is going to be an actual office event (so no clubs, pubs etc). So far we have gone karoke and Dave & Busters. Not sure what is a good and appropriate place to go next. Any good ideas? Has to be within reasonable budget.

Uh, you're going to "out" someone in your office?

somebody in your office has an alternative lifestyle and you want to out time in from of their collegues? I think that's quite inappropriate and non-PC. but if i were to absolutely have to pick a place it would be the rail.

how about bowling? have prizes for best & worst score, each team could have a "theme" ie hawaiian shirts, 50's attire, etc. (have prize for best one)..we picked up trophys from the Goodwill/recycle store, were pretty tacky :) something all ages can do...

Err I am kinda confused with the confusion. I am in charge of planning a small department event for my department that is going to be on company time and need a few ideas on places we can go to. That helps?

-round of golf
-go karting
-that whirly ball place (I think it's called Rinx) also has laser tag, roller skating, ice skating, and boardrooms.
-go to the track (like Woodbine)
-ATV

Right now the 2 main ideas are Bowling and Rinx (though Rinx is not really close to where I work). Others include Bingo, Paintball, and Woodbine Race track though the latter ones probably won't work.

The bowling idea is great.....you will have loads of fun in a very casual setting.

How about Go Carts? The weather is still nice enough.
