Desjardin auto insurance

Anyone have claims experience with Desjardins auto insurance? How long does the procedure take? I was involved in minor accident in brampton, on 3rd jan..till date we have no estimate whatsoever. Whenever we call the adjuster , they r easy and polite. For us its a pain. No response !!

I had a claim with desjardin 3 years ago. Car was totalled. Car was assessed within 1 week and cheque received within 2 weeks after the assessment.

unacceptable imo, call and ask for a manager

however, if they are waiting for acceptance of liability from third party or determination of fault, this can take time... however, they should be giving you updates regarding in the meantime

Theyre not great in general. I recall they offered no discounts for anything when I was with them.. never again.

Not sure what that has to do with claims experience...

I offered general context. Sorry if that's difficult to understand.

But it doesn't correlate to poor customer service.

There is a correlation. I provided general context of my experience with the same insurance company. Thanks though, this debate is worth our time.

General context? Not getting a discount from a completely separate department makes 100% sense when it comes to claims. Thanks for your deep thoughts into this matter.
