Hmm, so with home hardware they have the dw718 with a stand for $799 right now, that would qualify I guess right?
That cordless nailer looks rather handy. Anyone used them?

on the page 6 of the current LOWE's flyer, they are offering this DW 718 saw for 649 dollars.. with free stand DW 723 (249 dollars orginal price).
if we can still eligible to get the dewalt hammer drill or nailer from the above mentioned application for 30$ shipping then this deal becomes very hot..._______________

I took the bite on the last. Apparently the "free stand" with the purchase of a DW718 was a Lowes promotion, I picked it up (the stand) in store. I sure do hope that DeWalt will send me the cordless drill as well

Btw., there was also a coupon inside the 2010 Lowes Tools Guide which entitled me to 25 bucks off, since my purchase was over 200 bucks (you can pick up a copy in any Lowes store). All in all, 624 bucks for a stand, mitre saw and cordless hammer drill (let's hope), not bad !!!

YES those #&%#$

First time they dropped by my wife did not hear anything nor was there a note. Second time they came by again my wife did not hear anything but a note was finally left on the door notifying us that it is the second attempt. I rerouted it to be delivered to my work place but apparently after the cut off time so they cam a third time and by the time my wife got to the door he was gone again leaving a note WT
Worst part is finally received my shipment at work and the box was all banged up and retaped the main piece had a dent and was missing all other parts and manual. Took me 4 calls to finally get the local rep to resend me another unit. I wonder if the UPS driver did that cause I made him deliver it 4 times?_______________

I have no clue. I suspect someone working at Dewalt tried to sneak one by but then it is quite possible that the UPS driver just wanted to screw with me for having to attempt to deiver this huge ass thing 3 times
