I used to get Diamond Crystal Kosher at Diana's Seafood, Wexford and Lawrence Av. East, until I moved. They may still carry it.
Now I buy No Frills kosher salt, and it seems to have the same light crystal structure, easy to use.

If you don't mind going to North York/Markham, Whole Foods carries it for $5.99

I like redmons sea salt/kosher sea salt. If you want a larger grain size then maybe use coarse sea salt.

The advantage Diamond Crystal kosher has is an air filled crystal, which chefs prefer for easy spreading, melting, and less salt per volume. Not every kosher salt is like this, and probably no sea salt or coarse pickling salt.

I've been using Windsor kosher salt. $4 a kilo or whatever, available pretty much everywhere. I don't mind it, but I would like to try Diamond.

I've tried sea salt and I find the taste to be quite strong. Like biting into pretzel salt.

There is a lot of personal preference in this but I much prefer diamond to windsor kosher salt.
