Sounds about right having new rotors and parts. Euro car parts are expensive and after labor 800 is good enough price.

Hell, it's $800 in OEM parts alone for my Honda Accord, not even counting the labour.

That's a bargain at a dealership. Toyota once quoted me $1000 for front brakes alone

Maybe greasing pins not as critical on new cars. With older cars, I do every 6 monthsancnfamily wrote: ↑ I don't recall VW ever offering brake service to grease caliber pins. On other had when I had Toyota and Crappy POS Honda, that was normal at every oil change. And brakes lasted for 30000-40000 Km.
