Did I get scammed? - Issue resolved, product received, Please lock
Please lock this thread, my item came today and the issue is resolved.
Im hesitant to post much specifics in this thread because it's only been a week since I paid for my "purchase" but so far what I've received from seller and canadapost has me confused.
I bought a computer item here and paid via paypal on the 25th of the month. I received an email via paypal later that day with the status showing order shipped and when I click the link for canada post it says its An order has been electronically submitted. I called canada post today to find out what's going on and they tell me that all that means is a shipping label was printed on the 25th but not shipped. I realize its been a long weekend, but it was supposedly sent expresspost which is guaranteed 3 days across canada. Its now been 5 business days since it was "shipped".
Is this me being too antsy about this and I should wait another week? I emailed and PMd the seller today but he still hasn't responded yet.
What should I do?Last edited by Heavyc; Sep 4th, 2008 at 08:47 PM. Reason: resolved

You should be protected since you paid through paypal...If the seller stop communicating with you and by the end of this week you still don't have the merchandise I say you file a claim with paypal for shipment not receive. You need to keep sending pm, email and call the seller, if you have his/her contact number and document everything you're doing...this will help you with your claim later on if you did get scam. Hope everything works out for you.
Good Luck

lol don't even bother trying to track Canadapost's express shipping. It will remain like that until after it arrives at your doorstep.
