DirectCanada Customer Service
Has anybody out there ever had experience with Direct Canada and returning defective merchandise? I ordered some memory from them, however one of the sticks is defective. The memory was shipped in an open anti-static bag inside of a small box so i selected unopened merchandise on the online RMA request form.
because in their policy it says that they have a 15 day full money back policy and because their product was defective, i don't think i should be charged the restocking fee.

never had to return anything to them but did you email them about the situation? im sure that if you do they will take care of it, and if they refuse to link them to this forum because im sure it will lose them a lot of business. if that is how they are going to handle your case i definitely would not buy from them again....

They shouldn't charge you restocking if it is defective.

I returned an Asus motherboard (due to a bad bios update from Asus) and DirectCanada gave me a full refund ... I told them I would purchase it back from them but they didn't have it in stock so I went elsewhere.
But their return procedure was pretty straightforward and I was satisfied.

I had a dead motherboard returned it, got all my money back. If its doa, they don't charge you the restock fee.
