If Hiddleston signs up to play Loki I'd want to watch that show.
The article does state Olsen and hiddleston returning.

Disney does have money and will be using it to gather big talent to get ppl to enrol in their streaming services.

More like Ducks Never Back Down featuring War Machine. (Don Cheadle played the role of Donald Duck on the recent season finale of Ducktales)

Marvel heroes Falcon and Winter Soldier are teaming up for a potential limited series at the Disney streaming service.

Variety has learned exclusively that Malcolm Spellman has been tapped to write a series featuring the two superheroes, which is currently in development at the streamer. It is the first of the proposed Marvel limited series to find a writer.

Expect to open your wallets soon as I predicted. We will be wishing to have the cable packages back.
Interesting times... It will all work itself out though. The market will dictate what they want in the end.
I think it will be messy over the next 2 years and then like others have said here, there will be merges and deals and content will be available on most platforms and they will charge a ton for their services :)

Maybe.... You'd hope they'd of learned something from the drop in popularity of cable. People will leave if it gets too expense. I tend to think we'll a few big players that might be worth subscribing every month, and a bunch of players that maybe you dip in and out of when they have something worth watching. Unlike cable you readily access all the old content on a streaming service. No real need to sub every month unless they put out good content. Way easier than cable to subscribe/unsubscribe.

Plus no ads on streaming services, or at least yet. That to me is what's great about streaming. On your TV sub, you are basically paying for the ads

Ads on streaming services will be the next step down the road. And because of the nature of the Internet and interactivity I will predict they will be more intrusive than ever.
