Disney World Tickets - Disney Store (Ottawa Location)
There are other threads about getting Disney tickets at the Disney Store, I just wanted to post this to let people know that there are some available at the Bayshore Mall location.
They have probably 6 adult premium passes - 7 day (w/park hopper and water park) and 25 or so children passes of the same type.
They had 2 adult passes for the 7 day w/water park n more
There were various other passes but these were the ones I was interested in and remembered.
Call the store for availability 613-721-4155 (Bayshore location).
This is definitely a hot deal as prices are the same as the US prices but are charged in CDN.
We bought four 7 day premium passes (adult) and one child 7 day premium pass for $1708.

yes they do, you have to call your store to find out about availability though as they come in batches. The store at Bayshore mall in ottawa said that they were not expecting anymore in until March sometime, we are driving down at the end of the month so took advantage of the ones they had.

If I'm not mistaken, I think the way it works (without purchasing the no-expiry option) is that they automatically expire after using your first day's pass.

I bought my 3-day passes at the Disney Store in Winnipeg in November. They were out of adult passes, so the sold me 4 kid's passes (ages 3-9) and told me there would be no problem upgrading once I got to the park. I would just need to pay the difference.
They were wrong.
The dude at the Guest Relations booth in Downtown Disney changed two of my tickets to "adult" tickets (10 years and older) and DIDN'T CHARGE ME ANYTHING!
YMMV. I told him that I needed to change two of the four tickets to 10+. He asked if the kids were with me. I didn't know why he was asking, so I said no. He gave me the two new tickets, voided the old ones and said "there you go". I didn't mean to scam the mouse, but somehow I guess I did.

Disney has always been good about their customer relations, in my experience. We bought 7 Day Hoppers for our kids, back in 2001...these never expire. At that time, we used 3 of the 7 days. Fast forward, to 2008, and my kids are no longer kids according to Disney. We brought our passes to the Guest Relations counter...no charge, they upgraded the kids passes to adults. So, in the 7 years that we held those tickets, the prices of the park fees have increased by at least 30% (don't quote me), and the passes were upgraded from kids to adult. That is a great return on our investment!
FWIW, the Universal passes that we bought thru CAA were the same deal...kids passes back in 2001, but in 2008, they follow Disney's excellent customer service, and upgraded them to adult fares too.
You pay a premium for the park admission fees, but Disney staff know how to treat you right, not just with these free upgrades, but by and large throughout the whole park...Universal has to follow suit, just to keep up and maintain similar attractive value for its customers!
Anyway, if anyone is thinking of buy passes for your kids, choose the non-expiry option, whatever that is, and watch your investment "grow" in the future, if you don't use them all up before they become "adult".

Awesome deal. I will check to see if the Disney store in GVRD has the Disney world tickets.

I think it depends on how many days you're planning to use in the parks this trip. If you don't think that you will use all 7 days, then yes, nonexpiring is the way to go.

We bought four 7 day premium passes (adult) and one child 7 day premium pass for $1409.43. At today's exchange rate, that is a savings of $330.65!
I am a little confused. I cannot see how you got a great deal. Two adult and one child 7-day (w/ park hopping and water parks + more) can be had for $947.85 USD. Even with a 1.30 credit card exchange rate, the total price should be around $1232.21 CDN. Now, if you also got the No Expiration option because you plan on using the 7-day tickets over two or more trips to WDW, then you saved about $200. However, if you use all 7 days on one trip, then you overpaid.
Keep in mind, now, the No Expiration option is no longer as good a value as it once was. For example, the option in 2008 was $100-110 USD for a 10 day pass. In 2009, the same option is $190-200 USD.

The No Expiration option is only of value to people that make frequent short visits to WDW. If you make a 3-4 day trip every 12-18 months, then a no expiration ticket can be of value. However, only if you purchase the water parks + more option and keep your tickets until all the options are used.
On a 10 day ticket, you get 10 water parks + more uses. If you go to the water parks or Disney Quest, then you save $40 USD per visit, which could cost up to $400 USD based on current pricing.

Except he bought *4* adult and 1 kid.
