The only option I have here is cable and I don't want to throw my money away to Rogers so I chose 3web till Teksavvy is available in KW. They had better fix things soon. At least I can do some online gaming now. Had dial-up when I moved here for the first 5 months.
This is the norm for me these days.

Finally... I am up and running. Voip phone is working as well. Haven`t tried dowloading yet. Still playing around with my usual sites. Just wanted to post that i`m pretty happy so far. Was a long, long 2 week wait to get everything sorted out. Cogeco tech was here this morning and fixed everything. Will report back in a couple of days with more indepth review...

I'm K4A and while Usenet has been alright (~2mbps), streaming video services (NHL gamecentre for example) have been unusable the last couple of days.
Various speed tests put it around 2-3mbps in 'prime time'.
This service has slowed down considerably since I started in late November. Reply With Quote

It's called speedboost, what your seeing is very temporary, go download a big file from somewhere that will take more than 30secs then watch your speed come back to normal Reply With Quote
