Magna International Inc. (TSX : MG)

During the three months and year ended December 31, 2016, Magna repurchased 2.7 million shares for $114 million and 22.6 million shares for $913 million, respectively.

Yesterday, our Board of Directors declared a quarterly dividend of $0.275 with respect to our outstanding Common Shares for the quarter ended December 31, 2016. This dividend is payable on March 24, 2017 to shareholders of record on March 10, 2017.

"This 10% dividend increase, the eighth consecutive year of increases, reflects the confidence that both management and our Board currently have in Magna's future."

Ever since they bought out The Brick a few years ago, I've been sitting on it, waiting for a dividend increase. Finally.

Leon's Furniture Ltd. (TSX : LNF)

“In recognition of our record results and confidence in the future, we are happy to announce that the quarterly dividend will be increased by 20% from 10 cents to 12 cents,” he added. The dividend increase is payable on April 28 to shareholders of record on March 28.

Mosaic Capital Corp (TSXV : M)

Board of Directors has approved changing the common share dividend payments from a quarterly basis to a monthly basis and will increase the common share dividend, on an annual basis, by 5% from $0.40 per annum to $0.42 per annum.

The final quarterly dividend will be in the amount of $0.105 per share ( $0.42 per share on an annualized basis). This quarterly dividend will be for shareholders of record as of March 15, 2017 and will be paid March 31, 2017 .

The first monthly dividend payment of $0.035 per share ( $0.42 per share on an annualized basis) will be paid on April 28, 2017 to shareholders of record on April 14 , 2017.

Not a dividend, but close enough.

CAPREIT (TSX: CAR.UN)

Canadian Apartment Properties Real Estate Investment Trust ("CAPREIT") (TSX:CAR.UN) announced today that its Board of Trustees had approved a 2.4% increase in monthly cash distributions to $0.1067 per Unit, or $1.28 per Unit on an annualized basis. The increase effective with the March 2017 distribution payable on April 17, 2017 to Unitholders of record as at March 31, 2017.

i was watching car.un a few years back when it was 21 or so, was going to jump in and it hit 27, never chased it :(
