Shaw Communications Inc. on Thursday raised its monthly dividend by five per cent
Its dividend was raised by five cents on an annual basis to 97 cents per share.

Jan 12, 2012 (MARKETWIRE via COMTEX) -- The Board of Directors of ATCO Ltd. today declared a first quarter dividend of 32.75 cents per Class I Non-Voting CA:ACO.X and Class II Voting share CA:ACO.Y, a 15% increase over the 28.5 cents paid in each of the previous four quarters. The dividend is payable March 31, 2012, to shareholders of record on March 9, 2012.

Per BNN, Pembina Pipelines is increasing its dividend 3.8% to 13.5 cents per share.

Potash Corp. doubles quarterly dividend from 7 to 14 cents.

Increase of 9.1% in the quarterly dividend which increased from $0.11 to $0.12 - a dividend of $0.12 per share has been declared and will be payable on February 23, 2012 to shareholders of record as at February 09, 2012.

Imperial Oil Ltd. (TSX:IMO) is raising its quarterly dividend after posting a 26 per cent increase in earnings for the first quarter and its second-highest annual profit ever for all of 2011 thanks to higher oil prices.
Imperial's quarterly dividend will rise one cent to 12 cents per share beginning with the first quarter 2012 payout.

Grocer Metro Inc. (MRU.A-T) boosted its dividend nearly 12 per cent after reporting higher profits and revenues in its latest quarter, fuelled by acquisitions and investments.
The Montreal food retailer reported Tuesday it raised its payment to shareholders 11.7 per cent to 21.5 cents a share.

H&R REIT increased its monthly dividend at the end of January from 0.0875 to 0.09167 cents (or 4.8%).
