DLINK DWL-922 Wireless Router with USB adapter $49

I was trying to buy this router on the 25th but at check out the ssl server wasnt working... It was $49 after MIR and IR... when I checked today it was $109.99 after MIR not sure if this was a price error. I was pissed but decided to check at my local FS and I saw a them at $79 without any mention of the MIR... Bought them and got my MIR online like it was originally posted on the 25 ie $49 after MIR!!

I thought that was a good deal because just the USB adapter is $49 after MIR ... which makes me believe it was a price mistake... im sure you can get more at your local FS for $79..just download the MIR from the website

Here the Starter Kit is posted for $109.99 but get it at the store for $79

Anyone has experienced with this router, in terms of signal and security ?

It wasn't a price error. It was a one-day only sale (Dec 25).

Just look on the label on the bottom of the router. Look for where it says revision.

the P/N ends with A2.

What does that mean?

all d-link 524 in FS and BB are hardware rev A2, come with firmware 1.12. it's working well enough for me as a 802.11g access point. Rev C is the better version though. It supports WPA AES which rev A2 does not, and there is also firmware hack that let you upgrade Di-524 to a DI-624.

Well, i just ordered the router alone and got rev C. Does this mean i can flash it to get 108MBps?

EDIT: Just in case anybody wants a better chance of getting a rev C, i ordered mine from BB online.
