do credit cards have a limit of days to do a chargeback?
basically I bought something online about a month ago.
Haven't received the product but seller claims he will send another one.
But in the worst case scenario if I don't receive anything, after a certain number of days am I no longer allowed to do a chargeback?
(I have mbna smartcash)

Of course there is a limit. I just don't know how long your card would allow.

You will usually find the time limit for disputing items on the back of your statement. Everyone should familiarize themselves with the terms of their CC. PC MC is 30 days from the statement date.

There is a difference between disputing errors on statements (e.g. charges you don't recognize) and disputing charges due to problem with merchants (e.g. item not received, failure to provide service, credit for return items not issued).
