Do i have hot coffee edition of GTA?

i just picked one up for ps2 (not greatest hits) and i want to figure out if i have the hot coffee version or not

what's the easiest way to figure out? without having to actually playing the game to test

I believe u can findout by what the rating on the front of the game is. I believe the Hot Coffee edition is rated MA. After they found out about the scene in the game, it was given a rating of 18+ or Adults Only. Here's the link from Wikipedia talking about it

Depends on where you picked it up. If it was at a retail store (not a used copy) then it definately is not a hot coffee edition.

Other than that, only way to find out, I think, is to try to access it in-game.

the first released edition contains hot coffee. the specail edition with the gold on the cover and the greatest hit does Not contain hot coffee.

you still need to download the crack to unlock it for the ps2 version.

the version i have is the normal boxed version

not greatest hits or that gold special edition

it has an M rating on the front of the box

No need to get the Hot Coffee version, just get a copy of Sexy Beach 3, and all your fantasies will come true.

The AO version removed the code.

I have no idea if you can access it from the PS2... maybe you need a gameshark type device?
