Try Ad-aware SE, update to the latest definition, do a full system scan.
Next: get MS Antispyware beta, again, update to the latest definition full system scan.
Last: get this: http://www.ewido.net/en/
it's a trial, but very good with real time protection for 30 days just to make sure everything is clean.
When all that is done, open your task manager, and google each suspicious processes in your system. If it's bad, terminate it. Last, use Start->Run->MS Config->Start Up: Google all the suspicious startup applications, stop it, locate it's directory, write it down. Boot into safe mode without network, manually delete them all.
Hope this helps. When you're done all that, open up IE, goto Tools, Internet Options, reset Security section and Advanced section, delete all Temp Internet Files, you should be clean.

Do I have a virus/worm/trojan horse on my computer?
So it has been about 2-3 weeks that I can't use Internet Explorer to
open up the TD Waterhouse Webbroker website.....
I figure something is not quite right....so I used another laptop of mine, and I am able to log in no problem.
But my main laptop can't open the page at all....
So today, I downloaded Firefox(which I should've been using long ago, so much faster than IE)...
anyways...with Firefox I am able to load up the Webbroker page today....
But then like 1 hour ago, my firefox has some kind of error message box, something like 'firefox exception error' or something...
then I tried opening up my Webbroker...and its the same results as with IE...I can't load that page up anymore..
Is this a sign of a virus or something? anything that can cause a particular webpage to be blocked on my laptop? no other website is blocked.
I ran Norton virus and AVG, neither one of them found any virus on it?
any helP?

When I used to run Internet Explorer, I had to use adware every week or so..
Since I switched to Firefox, I don't even run it because it never comes up with anything.
You should consider switching to Firefox from IE.. and consider it seriously. Do not simply hold loyalty to IE because you've always used it._______________

if you use IE, update your HOSTS file to block some unwanted content.
