Do I need to get permit to put up signs/posters in intersection?
So I don't have them tearing them down. Im talking about those informal kinds of ad-signs on utility poles, traffic light poles, median islands, etc.
Also is there limit to the time period of them up?

Please don't.....those things are a bloody eyesore and make the poles look so trashy. And how many people do you think, actually jot down the numbers posted on the poles and seek out the business of the cheap-@ss advertiser?

you're not allowed to, but people still do it anyways. But then someone else will come along in a few days and paste theirs on top of yours, so there's no point to it.

And the city is too backlogged to follow through. I always see people putting these ads advertising rooms or services. I just stare blankly at the ads when I'm stuck at a light but I can't really see anything coherent. Someone should put up a prize to be claimed like $10 if you actually follow up and see how many people actually see it and folllow through. Either way, I don't think that $10 is at any risk.
