I can't believe you guys thought EMT was safe. How is it safe? There is always a flaw in everything that is made, EMT has no security (ie. getting scammed) and it can get reversed as easily as frauded/stolen PayPals.

Great. I don't trust Paypal and now I can't even be confortable with EMT. May as well go back to using beaver pelts or something.

Yeah. I don't see the OT point. If anything, ticallian should be wary, he's the one sending EMT first. That's a nonrefundable transaction.

Direct bank deposit is probably safer than both. I actually prefer bank deposit for all my large sales.

Unless you withdraw it right away there's always the chance of your bank cancelling the transaction or taking the money back. This type of scam has been reported many times on this forum (iPods were the most popular for EMT scams), and there was also many reports of EMT scams done on E-Bay.thats intense! people could claim their accounts are hacked then get funds reversed =x EMT scary.

hmm
and here i was thinking EMT was safe (obviously there are ways around it, as nothing is fullproof, but i thought this was relatively safe).
I just want to say Bank transfers (wire transfers) aren't safe either
i've been scammed for ~2000 through a wire transfer
cause they close the account and run.
if you prefer receiving bank transfers, that's your own forte.
I just want to say one thing
nobody has PROOF of this guy being a scammer yet.
Everybody can be weary, but I'm always weary with dealing with people if its not face to face (even if they have good feedback).
So to flat out call him a scammer isn't right. to warn everybody is fine. I think if anybody chooses to deal with this guy
make it face to face
at a bank
cash only.
Verify the bills are real right there
give him the product
and be gone.

Actually EMT's can be hacked quite easily. Keyloggers, trojans that record your keystrokes are everywhere. Public access computer terminals, college campus computers, cafe's, mabey even on your own computer and you may not even know it. And there is always someone doing thier online banking on one these keylogged infected computers, and not all Anti-virus software can pick them up. Infact, someone on here has been scammed a while back with an EMT that was rejected. CertaPay has initiated some countermeasures to help prevent it, but it's no where near 100% safe. It's even worse with PayPal.
