Do these Jeans look to long? And is this a nice looking peacoat?

Yes the next size down would be 30 inseam. Whether that's short or long enough we can't tell you'd have to try them on yourself.

+1 on eating more. Length wise, go with a 30.. the jeans waist line does look like its covering up your belly..

i think for these jeans when i tried 30, a bit of my socks were showing on the back heel

You can hem the jeans. TBH they don't really match the shoes/boots you're wearing.
